EKE was born from the vision of protecting your smartphone without obscuring its design.

EKE means protection without embellishment – minimalist design so your device looks exactly as it was meant to: elegant, clear, unchanged. Take your phone out of the case and hold it in your hand – you'll immediately feel what you've been missing. EKE brings that feeling back.

If not, here's the solution:

EKE actually means CORNER – and refers to the cases that are attached to the corners of your iPhone.

The mirrored Ǝ encloses a rectangular device, while the inverted K initially causes confusion and is not immediately recognizable as a K. This very play on perception is what makes the design so compelling – and in the best-case scenario, it will now haunt you forever, reminding you of your EKE .

The idea behind EKE

The inspiration came when I was working as a store manager for a former Apple partner. I kept hearing the same phrase: "I spend so much money on the design and then have to hide it in a case."

It quickly became clear to me: hardly anyone actually wants to wear a case. Everyone wants to retain the premium feel of the device in their hand. But there was no solution for using a smartphone safely without a case. And we all know – it's only a matter of time before a device slips out of your hand.

Many customers consciously chose not to use a case, saying, "I'm not buying an iPhone to hide it in a bulky case. It's beautiful as it is." EKE was created precisely out of this need – to combine protection and design.
